Tobacco Road fans are hardy, resilient and not effected by the weather ... you're known to not only wear face paint, but body paint in torrential rains, freezing temperatures, snow and of course...when it's sunny and 80 degrees. The Tobacco Road Relay will run in a wide range of weather conditions and in general the race will not be cancelled for inclement weather. However, in the event of severe race day weather, the Tobacco Road Relay will seek and follow the advice of County and City Emergency Management. Our primary concern is participant safety, community safety and emergency response. Weather which may impact the race day event schedule may include, but not limited to: sustained heavy rains that severely limits visibility, sustained heavy rains that leads to flooding during the event, lightning, tornado, extreme fog or other severe weather event. If race day weather does not impact the event schedule, a notification will not be posted.
Entry fees non-refundable and non-transferable to another year. If the course is changed, if the race time is changed or if the race is cancelled due to circumstances beyond race management control, including, but not limited to, acts of nature, severe weather, pandemic, war or act of terrorism there are no refunds or transfers to subsequent years.
